A plain-language overview of how Sakany handles listing, viewing, contract, and payment data.
Sakany app and notifications
The app stores saved searches and a private device access credential. Viewing requests made in the app are linked to that device for status tracking. If you enable notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging uses a device token to deliver generic updates without names, phone numbers or payment details. Disable notifications or delete device data and saved searches in app settings. This does not cancel an existing viewing request or erase its operational record.
What we collect
We collect property details, contact data from listing submitters, interested buyers or renters, viewing and lease applicants, and transaction references users submit. A shortened network-address fingerprint is used in abuse-control counters. We never ask for a bank PIN, OTP, card PIN, or banking password.
Why we use it
We use data to review listings, communicate, arrange viewings, prepare contract steps, manually verify commission payments, prevent fraud, and keep an audit trail of deal decisions.
Who can access it
Access is limited to authorized Sakany operators and necessary hosting, signature, and calendar providers under their working permissions. An owner’s phone number or private documents are not published in the public listing.
Retention and deletion
We retain data as long as needed for the legal and operational purpose and transaction record, then delete or de-identify it when no longer required. Request access, correction, or deletion through Sakany’s official number.
Optional statistics
With your permission, Sakany stores daily totals of page views, WhatsApp/call clicks and request activity for up to 90 days. These totals use broad source and campaign labels, without visitor IDs, contact details, search text or private link tokens. They work without Google Analytics; if Google Analytics is connected, approved events are also sent there. Change your choice here; browsing and requests remain available if you decline.
Contracts and payments
Certified signing is completed by a licensed provider when connected. InstaPay opens outside Sakany, and payment remains under review until the Sakany team reconciles the reference against the receiving account.
